Israel is a mystical country, full of history, a magical place where the tourist is the protagonist
WHAT TO DO IN ISRAEL?
Tel aviv
Tel Aviv, the cultural heart of Israel, beats all year round with culture, fashion, nightlife, restaurants and cafes. Its beautiful beaches offer the perfect balance to the bustling urban nature of city life. This city is famous for its Bauhaus architecture, quiet cafes, lively markets, shops, select restaurants, world-class nightclubs, street art and sunsets of breathtaking beauty.
Wailing Wall
The Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, Israel, is the most sacred site for the Jews, because it is the only remaining piece of the retaining wall of the Temple of Jerusalem, which was the first temple of this religion. In the part of the prayers you can see pieces of paper with prayers between each of the rocks, as well as Orthodox Jews and some other Jews who arrive there to recite the entire book of Psalms.
Dead Sea
An arid desert, captivating views, therapeutic black mud and infinite serenity – this is what makes the Dead Sea a unique tourist destination of the holidays. A place to visit is undoubtedly Masada: the strength of the great summit is an exciting place (take the cable car when going up and back), with stunning views of the desert and the Dead Sea in all its splendor.
The caves of Qumran
The year 1947 in the Wadi Qumran, next to the Dead Sea, appeared in various caves, eleven in total, earthen jars containing a good number of documents written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. It is known that they were written between the s. II a.C. and the year 70 AD, when the destruction of Jerusalem took place. Some 800 writings have been recomposed from several thousand fragments, since very few documents have been completed.
Masada National Park
This mountain, converted into a symbol of courage and determination, stands on the Dead Sea and the wild territories of the Judean desert. Its unique history and its geological value have earned it recognition as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. There are different ways to travel to Masada, but the most common is the cable car.
The food in Israel
Food is one of the greatest joys of life, and Tel Aviv’s food is definitely ready for the occasion. Venture to find in all the restaurants and local cafes the best food and live the experience.
