WHAT TO VISIT IN IRAN?
Teheran
In Tehran tourism will take you to know some of the best known corners of Iran and many other places charged with an incomparable attraction that surprises travelers who are directing their steps for the first time to the Iranian capital. In its streets, in its bazaars and in its monuments you can feel the warm and friendly essence of its people and enjoy spectacular corners that seem to come from fantastic stories.
Kerman
Kerman is one of the 28 provinces of Iran, It extends along 3 kilometers in the center of the city. It was built in the Safavid era, is one of the largest and most interesting in Iran, with its ancient caravanserai, tea houses (Chai khane) and old hammams (baths). Inside the Bazaar there are several Tea Houses where it preserves all its centennial flavor.
In addition to wandering aimlessly through the bazaar, it is best to sit in a tea house, have some infusions with sweets and contemplate smokers of gheliuns (water pipe).
Yazd
With its mosque possessing the tallest minarets of Iran, its wind towers, its adobe old town, Kharanaq abandoned village, Chak Chak Zoroastrian center, Meybod and its ice house, is one of the essential stops in the trip to Iran .
Shiraz
It is one of the most special cities you will find in the Asian country. This charming city is full of history and culture. In its streets were born some of the most important medieval writers of ancient Persia, which has been worth to pass to posterity as the City of Poets.
Isfahan
Isfahan is the cultural capital of Iran, the most beautiful of Iranian cities, a gem set in the middle of Persian territory, but also the most Christian in the country.
Almost 5 million Iranians visit it only during the holidays of Nowruz (the last ten days of March), and among the many attractions of this city, its multicultural aspect is manifested above all in the ideal fusion between Shiite Muslims and Armenian cult Christians .
Qom
It is the second most sacred city in Iran (the first place is occupied by Mashhad), but in practice it is the religious nucleus of the country. Housing the tomb of Fatima Ma’sumeh (sister of Imam Reza, buried in Mashhad) is only a secondary reason: Qom is the largest center of Islamic Shiite studies in the world, thus concentrating among its population a huge number of Talabeh (students of theology), mullah, and all the fauna of the Shia clergy in general.
Mashhad
It is the most religious city of Shiism, considered an oasis in the middle of the Silk Road, very close to the borders of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, but like the rest of the country, a very safe place, with the whole city watched by cameras, and a wonderful people.
