Longitude 131, in the Northern Territory of Australia

Uluru / ayer’s rock
The Uluru Monolith is the most famous icon in Australia. This inselberg – isolated abruptly in a plain of thickets – of reddish sandstone 348 meters high in central Australia is a sacred mountain for the Anangu aborigines and the biggest attraction of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, where there are other Sacred rock formations: Kata Tjuta, or Las Olgas, with its 36 peaks and 546 meters of altitude.

Kakadu national Park
Located 240 kilometers east of Darwin in Australia’s tropical north, Kakadu National Park is Australia’s largest land national park. Kakadu covers almost 20,000 square kilometers and is a place of enormous ecological and biological diversity. It stretches from the coast and estuaries in the north through flood plains, billabongs and lowlands to rocky ridges and stone country in the south.
